Pine Bluff woman killed in overnight automobile accident

A woman was killed in an automobile accident on Hutchinson Street close to Industrial Drive early Thursday morning.
The Pine Bluff Police Department was dispatched to the scene at 1:29 a.m. and found an automobile that had hit a tree that was partially in the roadway.
The driver was transported to Jefferson Regional with non-life threatening injuries.
The passenger, who has been identified as 26-year-old Tanesha Leach, was pronounced deceased at 2:30 a.m. by Jefferson County Coroner Chad Kelley.
The cause of death is listed as Multiple Blunt Force Trauma from the accident.
