Police in Benton are looking into an aggravated robbery that left one victim injured

Benton, Arkansas – One individual was run over during an aggravated robbery that is being looked into by the Benton Police Department.

According to a report from BNPD officers, the incident happened shortly after midnight at the Circle K and Exxon stations, close to Highway 5 North and Kenwood.

When police arrived on the site following reports of an aggravated robbery, they discovered an 85-year-old man who had been struck by a car.

After being taken to a medical facility, the man’s condition is reported to be stable.

Following an investigation, Benton Police report that they have taken 32-year-old Hot Springs resident Brittany Johnson into custody in connection with the incident.

She is accused of two charges of criminal mischief, aggravated robbery, property theft, terroristic threats, attempted capital murder, and illegal use of another person’s property to facilitate certain offenses.

The incident is still under investigation.
