Popular Arkansas petting zoo catches fire

Little Rock, Arkansas — A widespread loss of animals was reported in a popular central Arkansas petting zoo after the barn they were in caught fire.
According to Cockrills Country Critters, located in Austin, on Thursday night a fire had broken out in their exotic barn.
“We lost many special fur babies, feather babies, and reptile babies,” the post said.
The petting zoo includes a variety of small farm animals such as “rabbits, ducks, chickens, goats, pot-bellied pigs, mini ponies, mini cows, llamas, and alpacas, according to the business website.
” They even have exotic animals that include “kangaroos, camels, tortoises, lemurs, prairie dogs, and hedgehogs.”
