Pulaski County deputies arrested a suspect wanted for October homicide in North Little Rock
Little Rock, Arkansas – North Little Rock shooting incident that happened on October 21st was fatal for one person. The local authorities confirmed the shooting later in the day but didn’t immediately reveal the identity of the victim.
The day after the deadly shooting, local authorities identified the victim as Kirk Kirkwood, 18, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The shooting took place at the GT Ashley McAlmont Community Park off Arkansas Highway 161.
Pulaski County deputies and the North Little Rock police have been investigating the incident ever since, but no additional details were provided. The cause of the shooting has remained unknown, and no word about the suspect(s) has been given.
On Friday, Pulaski County deputies provided more details about the incident. The sheriff’s office confirmed that a total of four people have been involved in the incident, and all four of them were wanted by the authorities.
One of the four suspects, Deonte Kevonne Harris, 17, was found and put in jail on Friday. The police are still looking for Jonathan Russell Wright, Justin Davis, and Carl Lewis Kendle Jr. All of them are wanted on capital murder charges.
On Saturday, the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office released a photo of the suspects and the latest available information about them. Deputies are seeking public help in solving the case.
Before Harris was taken into custody, he and Wright were last seen together in a white Mitsubishi Galant bearing the Arkansas license plate number AIU16Z. We tried to learn what the reason behind the shooting was, but the local authorities were not able to provide more details about what caused the deadly incident.
