Registration for “Time Out for Tech” begun at Arkansas Tech
Little Rock, Arkansas – The “Time Out for Tech” event at Arkansas Tech University is now accepting registrations from high school students.
High school students can get a taste of life at Arkansas Tech University during the annual visit day.
“Our supportive learning environment, scholarship opportunities, wide variety of major fields of study and overall college experience make Arkansas Tech University the right fit for thousands of students every year,” said Kevin Solomon, dean for student engagement and interim assistant vice president for enrollment management at ATU. “If you are a high school senior evaluating your next step in life, you owe it to yourself to attend Time Out for Tech and discover all that ATU has to offer. We believe you will find your fit at Arkansas Tech.”
Participants will get additional knowledge about applying to ATU, living on campus, food plans, financial aid, and other topics.
There will be campus tours, academic breakout sessions where each student’s desired area of study will be covered in detail, and photo ops with Jerry the Bulldog, the ATU campus ambassador.
All high school seniors who will graduate in May 2023 are invited to the event, which is slated for Thursday, Feb. 23.
