Road to Miss Arkansas 2023

Jonesboro, Arkansas – Melody Stotts has earned the title of Miss Ouachita River.

She is going to perform the song “Tonight” from the musical West Side Story at the competition.

She received her degree in history education from Ouachita Baptist University and is currently teaching fifth grade.

Her contribution to society is “The Passion Project,” in which she inspires both children and adults to locate and pursue their individual passions.

The native of Jonesboro is currently enrolled in the online program “StudentLibrary Media and Information Specialist” at Southern Arkansas University, where she is working toward obtaining her master’s degree in order to work as a librarian.
