Little Rock, Arkansas – The Arkansas Ophthalmological Society made a donation of more than thirty thousand dollars to the Arkansas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired on Tuesday.
This donation was made in recognition of the fact that August is Children’s Eye Health and Safety Month.

The school’s efforts to raise money by selling eclipse glasses during the month of April made this contribution possible.

According to the officials, this endeavor required the participation of 37 individuals who represented 17 different clinics from all around the state.

Furthermore, this donation comes at a time when the school is in the process of considering ideas for modifications that are desperately required to improve the facilities at the school.
