Stacy Lee Drake is facing further charges in Oklahoma for the June 14 homicide
Little Rock, Arkansas – The 27th District Attorney of Oklahoma has filed new charges against Stacy Lee Drake, who is wanted in several jurisdictions for a number of felonies, including first-degree murder.
On June 18, at around 6:30 p.m., Sequoyah County deputies were called to a business near State Highway 64 and South 4670 Road in reference to two deceased people who were later identified as Tara Underwood, 35, and Taylor Sharp, 30, of Gans, Oklahoma. Since it was being looked into as a double homicide, the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office asked for assistance from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
After being discovered in Morrilton on June 20, Drake was taken into custody by the Arkansas State Police and the Morrilton Police Department. He was then extradited to the Sequoyah County Jail to face two counts of first-degree murder and one count of robbery for taking Underwood’s car.
In relation to the June 14 homicide of 56-year-old Phillip Emerson in Canadian County, Drake is currently facing additional charges. It was Drake’s third charge of first-degree murder overall. In addition, he is charged with two further charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon for taking Emerson’s car and Sharp’s wallet, plus one count each of possession of a stolen vehicle and a pattern of criminal offenses.
