Summer STEM Program for Grades 9-11 in Altheimer and Pine Bluff

Enrollment into the Summer STEM Education and Community Engagement program, held at Altheimer and Pine Bluff, AR, is now open. Students entering the 9th-11th grade this Fall, with a 3.0 minimum GPA can apply. Students accepted into the program will receive $500 maximum (if they do not miss any days).
Our program gives teens and early experience in STEM classes, career awareness, and community engagement. Here’s what you can expect:
STEM classes at UAPB College (virtual and/or hybrid), June 14-30, half days
STEM Visits (when available via UAPB)
Community Work 12 hours/week, July 5-27th, 3 days/week
Volunteer
Climate Control Project

However, if you want to learn more or would like to enroll in person, a KCTS representative will be at the Altheimer Public Library at 3pm on April 30th to assist you and answer questions.
