The annual Arkansas Reggae Festival brings the community together via culture and music
North Little Rock, Arkansas – The Arkansas Reggae Festival, a distinctive and colorful music event, drew crowds of people to Argenta Green Park in North Little Rock on Saturday afternoon.
The festival, which was organized by One Love Entertainment and featured live music, local artists, food trucks, and craft sellers, was hosted by Little Rock radio DJ Sonta Jean.
We learned more about the significance of the reggae festival for the community from event volunteers.
Vereita Bell, a festival volunteer, stated that the Arkansas Reggae Festival serves as a means of introducing reggae music to Little Rock. “Its a way for us all to join in union as a community and come together and vibe with the reggae community and the cultural difference we have.”
Volunteers advise that if you were unable to attend this year, you should make plans to attend in 2025 as the festival is held annually.
