The Brookland School District is growing
Brookland, Arkansas – One of the “fastest-growing school districts” in Arkansas is expanding.
The Brookland School District has acquired 103 acres, two miles northeast of the existing school along U.S. Highway 49B, between AR-230 and Craighead County Road 950, according to a Thursday announcement from Haag Brown Commercial Real Estate and Development.
Superintendent Brett Bunch stated, “The Brookland School District will be able to better serve our school and our community with the acquisition of this new property.” “We will be able to continue to provide our students with an exceptional education and job future thanks to our growth and the vision of our school board.”
The school has “reached max capacity, and traffic congestion has become a challenge,” the press announcement stated.
Nabholz Construction will oversee the project’s development, according to Haag Brown, with an initial emphasis on building a “state-of-the-art intermediate school.”
