The City of Maumelle pays tribute to a lost law enforcement officer
Maumelle, Arkansas – Wednesday, in the midst of the city council meeting for the City of Maumelle, a moment of silence was held in memory of a recently deceased corrections officer.
In the year 2022, Sergeant Joshua Caudell lost his life while assisting in the search for a suspect who was accused of shooting at Pulaski County deputies as well as a Maumelle police sergeant.
During the course of the meeting, the mayor of Maumelle gave an American flag to the family of Sergeant Caudell.
In addition, the Secretary of the Department of Corrections, Joe Profiri, as well as the Director of the Division of Correction, Dexter Payne, were present.
