The situation in Jefferson Regional Hospital with COVID pandemic is getting better

Arkansas – With the state’s first COVID-19 case at Jefferson Regional Hospital, in March 2020, the first cases of COVID-19 were reported across the county and in Arkansas.
According to hospital spokeswoman Wendy Talbot, it has been a tough 22 months for medical personnel, but she said she is seeing signs that things are getting better.
There are currently 29 patients who have been diagnosed with COVID hospitalized, Talbot said.
There was only one patient hospitalized at one point and Talbot said she hopes the numbers can come back down because “the staff needs a break.”
