Little Rock, Arkansas – Prepare to rock! ‘Cake’, an alternative rock band from the 1990s, will be visiting the Natural State this spring.

The Little Rock River Market said Tuesday that the band, which is well-known for the hits “The Distance,” “Never There,” and “Short Skirt/Long Jacket,” will play at Little Rock’s First Security Amphitheater in April.

In 1991, Cake was founded in Sacramento, California. Over the years, the band has gained recognition for its distinctive style, which combines jazz, country, funk, and rock components.
Additionally, they are well-known for using unusual instruments such as the vibraslap and trumpet.
