Little Rock, Arkasas – U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers from the 495th Inland Cargo transit Company will manage logistics for cargo transfer facilities at the intersections of truck, rail, air, and water transit sites in order to support the United States Central Command’s area of responsibility.

The 495th will be led by 1st Sergeant Kieth Knowlton and Captain Akeem Gaskin. “Tough ‘Ombres” is the name of the unit, which will function similarly to a civilian distribution center.

Its goal is to guarantee that soldiers are properly outfitted and equipped for combat success.

Commander Lt. Col. Trebor Bosley and Sgt. Major Bryant Howard of the 90th Sustainment Brigade, Special Troops Battalion, spearheaded the preparations for the massive undertaking.

The illustrious history of the 90th Sustainment Brigade began in August 1917 with the establishment of an Infantry Division at Camp Travis, Texas.

Support for the Army and joint and coalition partners is essential in unified ground operations when the organizations set out on missions across the global operational environment.

Then, as the 90th Infantry Division touched down on D-Day, a patch that said “T-O” stood for Texas and Oklahoma.

The T-O now stands for “Tough ‘Ombres,” which denotes the members of the unit and the places from where they have traveled across the country.
