Vietnam Veteran Commemoration in Pine Bluff

Celebrating Vietnam Era Veterans in a ceremony in Pine Bluff Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11 AM CDT – 2 PM CDT
Arkansas is celebrating Vietnam Veterans who served in the military between November 1, 1955, and May 15, 1975, with a Vietnam War Commemoration ceremony scheduled for 1 p.m. March 27 at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
This is a reschedule of the Oct. 25 event.
Pine Bluff Convention Center is located at 1 Convention Plaza, Pine Bluff Arkansas.
March 29 is National Vietnam Veterans Day.
On March 28, 2017, the president signed into law The Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act of 2017 (PL 115-15), designating every March 29 as National Vietnam War Veterans Day. March 29, 1973 is the day the Military Assistance Command Vietnam was deactivated.
Veterans and their family members will be have access to one-on-one counseling on VA healthcare and benefits as well as other state programs for veterans. The event is open to registered veterans, their family members and their guests.
Veterans have until March 20 at 4 p.m. to register online. See link below.
Registered participants will receive a Vietnam Veteran Lapel Pin and a certificate.

Registration is necessary to arrange for Vietnam Veteran Commemoration Lapel Pins which will be presented to veterans after the ceremony by the military leaders from the community.
