Woman arrested after man found dead at Pine Bluff Staples

LITTLE ROCK — A 28-year-old woman was arrested on Saturday after she reportedly fatally shot a Pine Bluff man.
Pine Bluff police responded to a shooting at Staples at 2910 E. Harding around 1 p.m. Officers found 43-year-old Stanley Jones unresponsive with apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Kendra L. Howard was taken into custody and is being held in the Jefferson County jail for first-degree murder.
This is the city’s 9th homicide of the year.
