Health and Wellness Clinic will be held on November 3 at UA Little Rock
Little Rock, Arkansas – A free Health and Wellness Clinic is scheduled to take place on November 3 thanks to the cooperation of the University of Arkansas with the Arkansas Minority Health Commission and the Arkansas Medical Society.
Participants in the event that is open to everyone who works or studies at the University of Arkansas Little Rock and will be held on Thursday in Ledbetter Hall inside the Donaghey Student Center are not required to register or sign-up in advance.
Preventative health screening for blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, and body mass index will be offered at the event, while ARCare will also provide testing for HIV.
The Arkansas Department of Health and the Arkansas Medical Society will make available Pfizer and Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccines in addition to the bivalent booster shot. Those who are interested in receiving booster shots are required to provide their COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card so that eligibility for booster doses may be determined.
