Mayflower Fire Department on scene of large landfill fire

Little Rock, Arkansas — On Tuesday agencies were working to put out a large fire at a landfill in Mayflower.
According to the fire department, the landfill was located off of White City Road.
A large column of smoke could reportedly be seen in the area.
While crews put out the fire, authorities were asking people to avoid the area.
