Pine Bluff man accused of two separate robberies was given a $250k bond
Pine Bluff, Arkansas – On Thursday, a Pine Bluff man who is suspected of taking part in two different robberies was given a $250,000 bond.
After finding that there was probable cause for the prosecution to charge 18-year-old Braylon Grays with two counts of aggravated robbery, Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond.
Deputy Prosecutor Joe West read from an affidavit provided by Detective Sgt. Corey Wilfong claimed that police were called to the Sunset Village Apartments early on October 11 in response to a reported robbery.
According to West, Grays was given a BOLO (Be On The Lookout) and was eventually found working at Kohler in Sheridan. He had taken a buddy’s automobile to get to Sheridan, and the friend had granted the Grant County Sheriff’s deputies permission to inspect the car. Within the car was an Air-Soft handgun that fit the description of the weapon used in the heist.
According to West, Grays acknowledged going to the flats to sell the smartphone in a statement he submitted to the police.
Grays was advised not to communicate with the victims and to return to court on March 14.
