Victim in North Little Rock homicide identified by authorities
North Little Rock, Arkansas – The victim in the recent homicide on West 35th Street in North Little Rock has been identified by authorities as 43-year-old Jason Smith.
In the early hours of Tuesday, the North Little Rock Police Department (NLRPD) responded to a distressing scene at a residence in the 1500 block of West 35th Street. At approximately 12 a.m., officers arrived to find Jason Smith, a North Little Rock resident, suffering from at least one gunshot wound inside the home.
Smith was quickly transported to a local hospital for urgent medical care. However, despite the efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries and was later pronounced dead. This incident has left the community in shock and prompted a thorough investigation by the NLRPD.
As of now, the police have not released any details regarding potential suspects in this case. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are actively seeking any information that could lead to a breakthrough.
