Police in Pine Bluff looking into the year’s first homicide
Little Rock, Arkansas – The Pine Bluff Police Department is looking into a murder that claimed the life of one man.
The victim’s name is known, according to the authorities, but is being kept a secret pending notification of the next of kin.
Around 10:50 p.m. on Wednesday, police were contacted in response to a shooting at the Regency Arms Apartments.
When police arrived, they discovered one man victim who appeared to have been shot. At the scene, the person was pronounced dead.
According to the police, the body has been submitted to the state crime lab for an official cause and manner of death determination.
In Pine Bluff, this will be the first homicide of 2023 and the first since September 14, 2022.
