Authorities looking into the shooting death of a 17-year-old in Pine Bluff
Pine Bluff, Arkansas – Authorities have launched an investigation following the shooting death of a 17-year-old in Pine Bluff on Tuesday night.
According to authorities, officers swiftly responded to a reported shooting in the 2000 block of South Orlando Street at approximately 9:40 p.m. Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement discovered the young victim lying near the street, having sustained gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical services promptly transported the teenager to a local hospital, where, sadly, he was pronounced deceased approximately an hour later. Due to the victim’s age, his identity will not be disclosed.
At this stage, the Pine Bluff Police Department has not divulged any information regarding potential suspects, and the motive behind the shooting remains undetermined.
