Little Rock residents can take free monthly cooking classes at Baptist Health
Little Rock, Arkansas – Residents of Little Rock can take advantage of free monthly cooking classes offered by Baptist Health Community Outreach.
Every second Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Baptist Health Community Outreach, 10117 Kanis Road in Little Rock, hosts the classes, which are titled Cooking with Community Outreach:
• Thursday, April 11: Gallo Pinto (Costa Rican rice and beans)
• Thursday, May 9: Mediterranean turkey burgers and cucumber salad
• Thursday, June 13: Chicken tacos with homemade salsa
According to a Baptist Health press release, Samantha Stadter, a certified dietician, is the instructor for these seminars. Their purpose is to give people more self-assurance when they are cooking.
According to the press release, each class will involve students preparing, cooking, and tasting a variety of dishes made with different components.
