Pine Bluff police seek public’s help in resolving an 8-year-old cold case
Pine Bluff, Arkansas – The Pine Bluff Police Department is reigniting public interest in an 8-year-old cold case, seeking assistance in uncovering the events surrounding the disappearance and death of Maranda Goldman.
Goldman’s case came back into the spotlight after the department released a Facebook video detailing the mysterious circumstances of her last known whereabouts. According to the video, Maranda Goldman was last seen on October 8, 2015, leaving a job interview at a Goodwill store on West 28th Street. She departed the location around 4:30 p.m., and tragically, she never made her way back home. At the time of her disappearance, she was only 23 years old.
In a twist of fate, an anonymous tip provided to the police 33 days after she went missing pointed them to a secluded wooded area near 38th and Ohio Street. It was there, near a pond, that the authorities made the heart-wrenching discovery of Goldman’s body.
The Pine Bluff Police Department is urging anyone with information to come forward, hoping that renewed attention to the case might finally bring closure to this unsettling mystery and justice for Maranda Goldman.
