Stand-up comedy workshop with Ben Jones: Learn, laugh, and perform
Pine Bluff, Arkansas – Embark on a comedic journey and master the art of making people laugh! The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas (ASC) presents an exciting opportunity for humor enthusiasts to learn the core principles of stand-up comedy under the guidance of nationally acclaimed comedian, Ben Jones. This two-part workshop is scheduled from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3, and Thursday, Oct. 5. Dive deep into the world of humor with sessions focusing on “comedic devices, performance techniques, onstage etiquette, and exercises for cultivating materials.”
But that’s not all! Showcase your newly acquired skills and light up the stage during the open mic performance on Saturday, Oct. 7, at The Adam B. Robinson Jr. Black Box Theater located at ART WORKS on Main, 627 S. Main St. in Pine Bluff.
The workshop is priced at $30 for ASC members and $40 for non-members, and is open to individuals aged 14 and above.
