Amber alert issued for 3-day-old Little Rock boy cancelled by authorities

Little Rock, Arkansas – The Little Rock Police Department has cancelled the Amber Alert for a missing infant. The alert, which had the community on high alert, was issued for 3-day-old Elijah Jackson-Wayne Everett but was cancelled after he was found safe.

Elijah Jackson-Wayne Everett went missing around noon on October 31. The newborn, just three days old, was described as a white male with a light complexion, weighing 8 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Adding to the urgency, police noted that baby Everett was suffering from jaundice, raising concerns about his health and well-being.

As part of the Amber Alert, the Little Rock Police Department was also on the lookout for 38-year-old Jessica Leona Keltner, believed to be with the infant. Keltner, whose last known address was 1405 Center Street in Little Rock, was described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall with dyed brown hair, brown eyes, and a light complexion. According to police reports, she was last seen wearing a black hoodie and may have been under the influence of narcotics.

Additionally, Keltner was reported to have left in a red four-door passenger car with visible damage and stickers on the rear bumper. The car’s make and model were unknown. Accompanying her was a black male driver, described as wearing a red shirt, with a slim build and afro-style hair.

After intense efforts by the Little Rock Police Department and Arkansas State Police, the search came to a successful conclusion when baby Everett was found unharmed.
