Early morning gunfire left three people dead, including a suspect
Jonesboro, Arkansas – Three individuals were killed in an early Sunday morning shooting close to Jonesboro’s downtown, according to the police, including the accused shooter.
Officers and first responders were summoned to the 600 block of Burke Avenue at around five in the morning on March 10, where they discovered multiple gunshot victims, according to a press statement from the Jonesboro Police Department.
According to Police Chief Rick Elliott, a domestic case led to the shooting.
There were seven gunshot victims. One of the three victims was the gunman.
The suspect knew one of the women who was injured. In an update at 11 a.m., JPD stated that another woman and male, who were also known to the suspect, had been shot and killed.
