Fourth arrest made in Pine Bluff gas station shooting

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – Police in Pine Bluff have arrested a fourth individual in relation to a fatal shooting that occurred at a gas station on Sunday morning.

The Pine Bluff Police Department (PBPD) confirmed that 21-year-old Marquis Latrael Sission surrendered himself around noon on Thursday. Sission was sought after by the authorities for his alleged involvement in the tragic incident that led to the death of Vincent Peal Jr. The shooting took place on North University on October 22nd, a Sunday, which has shaken the local community.

Marquis Latrael Sission marks the fifth suspect and the fourth arrest in connection with this deadly shooting. Prior to his surrender, the PBPD had already taken into custody three other individuals: 29-year-old Henry McAllister, 21-year-old Jaheim Ramsey, and 22-year-old Cordareyell Daniels.

Following his arrest, Sission was taken to the W.C. Dub Brassell Detention Center. He faces a series of grave charges, including capital murder, two counts of attempted capital murder, three counts of first-degree battery, discharging a firearm from a vehicle, and engaging in violent criminal group activity.

Despite these arrests, the police are still on the lookout for another suspect, 21-year-old Deontae Coleman, who remains at large.
