The number of Covid-19 active cases in Arkansas is dropping, 1,463 new cases reported

Arkansas – The number of active Covid-19 cases is dropping which is another proof that the Delta wave is slowing its spread across the state.
According tot eh ADH’s latest report, Arkansas added 1,463 new cases and 29 Covid-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours.
Since the start of the pandemic, the state recorded a total of 488,316 cases and 7,528 deaths.
The number of active cases is dropping. Currently, there are 13,714 active cases which is 511 less compared to the previous report.
The number of hospitalizations is also dropping, not standing on 967, 26 less compared to the day before. The same apply for people on ventilators which is now 256, 22 less compared to the day before.
This is what Gov. Asa Hutchinson said on Twitter in regards to the report:
“Today is the first day of fall, and as the weather changes, let’s continue to vaccinate so we can head off an autumn or winter surge of COVID. Active cases are falling but too many are dying who haven’t been vaccinated. More vaccines will keep us trending in the right direction.”
