Upcoming lane closures on I-30 planned for next week due to construction work
Little Rock, Arkansas – The week of November 20 will see significant lane closures on Interstate 30 (I-30) in Little Rock and North Little Rock due to ongoing construction work. Drivers planning to travel through these areas should be aware of the scheduled closures and make necessary adjustments to their routes.
The lane closures on I-30 are strategically planned to minimize disruptions during peak travel times, especially considering the Thanksgiving holiday. There will be no main lane closures from 5 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, to 8 p.m. Monday, November 27, to accommodate increased holiday traffic.
However, outside of these times, both daytime and overnight lane closures are scheduled. Daytime lane closures will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., while overnight closures will occur from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. In instances where double-lane closures are necessary, they will be limited to the hours between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. to reduce the impact on traffic flow.
Drivers should expect traffic to be controlled through construction barrels and signage. Caution is advised when traveling through these construction zones to ensure safety.
