Man arrested in connection with fatal October shooting in Little Rock
Little Rock, Arkansas – The Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) has made a significant breakthrough in a fatal shooting case from October, leading to the arrest of one suspect while the search for another continues.
October Shooting Incident and Arrests
On October 12, LRPD officers were called to the scene of a shooting in the 5500 block of West 51st Street, just before 7:50 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a man with a fatal gunshot wound. The victim was later identified as Mario Collins. Following the investigation into this tragic incident, the LRPD has arrested 20-year-old Omarion Dilworth in connection with Collins’s death.
Dilworth is currently facing a charge of capital murder, indicating the severity of the crime. This arrest marks a crucial step in bringing justice to the case, reflecting the diligent efforts of the LRPD in solving serious criminal offenses.
Ongoing Search for Another Suspect
In addition to Dilworth’s arrest, the authorities are actively searching for 24-year-old Arijuana Houston, who is also implicated in the shooting. Houston, like Dilworth, is facing a charge of capital murder. The LRPD’s ongoing efforts to locate Houston underline their commitment to fully resolving this case and ensuring all those responsible are held accountable.
