Arkansas State Police appeal for information on deadly hit-and-run
Little Rock, Arkansas – Arkansas State Police are urgently seeking the public’s assistance in a tragic case that occurred on Saturday, November 11. A pedestrian, identified as 57-year-old Quinton Lee Handy, was the victim of a fatal hit-and-run near Sweet Home in Pulaski County.
The incident took place around 8:30 p.m. along Highway 365 South, at the 8102 marker. According to the reports, a small, four-door sedan was involved in striking Handy. In a surprising turn, the driver of the sedan reportedly returned to the scene, interacted with a witness, and then left the area.
The seriousness of this incident has prompted Arkansas State Police to issue a public plea for information. They are asking anyone with knowledge about the hit-and-run to come forward and contact the ASP Troop A Dispatch at (501) 618-8100. This call for assistance is not just about solving a case, but also about bringing closure and justice to the family and friends of Quinton Lee Handy.
